Alicia Helm - Owner and Lead Designer
A native of Franklin, TN, Alicia cherishes childhood memories of her grandmother’s boutique, The Fashion Corner, in Martin, TN. This warm community staple inspired her vision for Spruce in Brentwood, founded in 2008. Alicia leads Spruce’s direction and product selection, offering curated Home Decor, Fashions, Accessories, and a premier Interior Design studio. A Belmont University graduate, she lives in Brentwood with her husband and three sons.
Rachel Guy - Designer
Rachel’s artistic talent and eye for composition led her to study at the O’More College of Design, and since then she’s been an invaluable collaborator on local design teams. She and Alicia work as design partners, venturing to furnishings and apparel markets to curate the signature Spruce aesthetic of refined and beautiful spaces. Together, they transform our clients’ design dreams into reality. Rachel lives with her husband, their son and daughter, and is a lifelong Brentwood resident.
Beth Miller - Sales Associate
Beth joined Spruce in 2023 after being a loyal client for more than a decade. She believes that even though Spruce’s beauty is the initial attraction, its warm and inviting ambiance is the secret to the boutique’s longevity in this close-knit community. Beth and her husband have lived in Brentwood since 2005 with their daughter, son, and beloved rescue dog.
Dawn Peach - Sales Associate
Dawn brings to Spruce an impressive background in local retail, but also a culinary expertise longtime clients cherish. At our specialty events and holiday gatherings, crowds ask by name for Dawn’s “Death to the Diet” Brownies, along with her mouth-watering Gougeres and marinated cheese plate. Dawn and her husband have called Brentwood home for nearly 30 years, but also enjoy spending as much time as they can at their beach home with their friends and adult children.
